I think it goes without saying that you should NOT pick up eggs or even chicks you find outside unless you can be sure you’re not actually taking said eggs/chicks away from a parent bird that’s simply out getting food or was frightened away from the nest by your approach. The person who made this video knows birds and has the proper equipment to care for them – and even he was almost at a loss with this one!
