This week on The Happy Page: And now, we can make…well, not a baby dinosaur. But we can make a nice facsimile of a mosquito embedded in polished, fossilized amber – i.e., a replica of John Hammond’s iconic cane-topper from the first Jurassic Park movie.
If you’re asking yourself why an actual mosquito wasn’t used, it’s because they’re too small to show well in this kind of prop. Unless you live in Florida, in which case they’d be too big. 😉
