As you may have seen in the sidebar note earlier this week, I had signed up to take part in a collaborative novel and the chapter I submitted got accepted. So that was really nice. You may have also seen in the same sidebar that I wasn’t sure I’d want to volunteer for a collaboration again, because it ended up being a really stressful experience for me – which may have had something to do with me having already written three novel-length stories this year, two of which are still very actively in progress.

However, just because I’m not sure about doing it again doesn’t mean some of you might not want to!
The Collaborative Writing Challenge (CWC) has already published two collaborative novels, The Concierge and Ambition, and two more more are currently in progress – Ark and Wytch Born. They also just announced their fifth collaboration project, which is to be a mystery/romance novel. So if you’re into that genre or you just think you might like to participate in a collaborative story with a really nice community of authors, go over to the CWC website and see how it works. They also have email updates you can sign up for, a Facebook page you can like, and links to their two already-published books on Amazon. It’s well worth checking out, whether you want to participate or not.
