One of my most favorite and re-watched movies of all. The effects were great, the casting was perfect, and the movie just looked beautiful in all its lovely gothic detail. It had everything you wanted from a multiple-monster movie, and even some things you hadn’t known you wanted until you saw them. Oh, and the soundtrack is awesome too.
I loved this movie so much I eventually wrote a crossover with it – because dammit, it was a universe that needed to keep going, even just a little bit.
