Rain, Rain...Please Don't Go Away
We have been significantly over-blessed with rain this summer, enough to make me really glad we live on a hill. Not complaining about the most recent thunderstorm, though, because it means I don’t have to go out and water. Or go out and mow the grass. 😉

This is one I never would have thought of using as the ‘killer’ in a murder mystery.

It’s the 4th, officially now even though most of my neighbors have been celebrating with fireworks every night since last weekend. And the fireflies have been competing with them at ground-level, which is just delightful to watch.
I’ve managed to write approximately 600 words in 2 days. I really need to write tonight. The unhappy boy you see above is Remy, our Maine Coon. Glaring at me because I was taking his picture, he doesn’t like that.
