This recipe has been around forever, and this particular video shows the recipe and steps I personally was taught way back in the day for making these cookies. Which are kind-of-sort-of more like making candy – you’re basically making fudge with oats in it. Which is also why I wouldn’t recommend using a regular large ice cream scoop to portion out the cookies, because that’s going to make some pretty big individual portions of really rich peanut-oatmeal-fudge.
