Very, very happy that the highest court in the land has just confirmed that gay people are not second-class citizens and are entitled to the same rights everyone else has. It’s a really great feeling to know that our marriage license is now (theoretically*) valid everywhere in the country according to federal law.
*We moved from Texas not that long ago, I doubt they’ll accept the ruling. Anyone taking bets on how long it will be before their governor threatens to secede (again) over this?
