This week on The Happy Page: Remember back when you were in grade school and you first learned to do paper mache? Yeah, this is nothing like that. This is a DRAGON.
I picked this particular video because 1) you’ve probably already seen the newer ones getting shared around on social media, and 2) this particular video really shows some of the smaller details of the dragon forming, including how he attached the head to the base and how he put in the lights. And if after watching this video you’re inspired to try to make some paper mache creations of your own, the artist, Dan Reeder, has also written a few books on the subject that might interest you.
