According to my Facebook feed, today, August 17, is Black Cat Appreciation Day. And I figured I should probably make a post about that, because we have two black kitties, Abby and Tony – or as they’re known when hiding in dark places with only their eyes showing, Horror Movie and Scary Movie. Tony had to be Scary Movie because he’s still just a kitten and not up to the proper non-silly standard for being a horror movie just yet.
Amazingly, Abby actually stood up and looked into the camera for me when I tracked her down to take this picture – maybe she knew it was Black Cat Appreciation Day? Tony was just on the stairs trying to kill me this morning, as per usual, and I got lucky when he looked up to see why it hadn’t worked.
