Stumbled across a thing today thanks to a recommendation someone made to someone who wasn’t me on a list I occasionally hang out on, and spent aalll the time I should have been writing and wasn’t spending catching Pokemon playing with my new LibraryThing account – notice, down on your right, there is a widget with book covers in it. Those are the books that were 1) on my desk, 2) in my Kindle Library, or 3) that I wrote, and I’m still trying to decide how I’m going to get the rest of our huge library in there. One book at a time, apparently. Luckily, I have a CueCat. Unluckily, I also own a lot of really old pre-barcode/ISBN books that will have to be entered manually anyway. 🙁
You may notice, looking at the animated covers flashing by, that my reading habits are even more eclectic than my writing habits. Trust me, that’s only going to get weirder as I add more books – wait ’til you see what’s in my Nook!
In other site update news, I put the increasingly huge list of 2016 featured videos on the Happy Page inside a closed accordion – I’ll keep the most recent four (a month’s worth, approximately) visible, but everything prior to that is going to be hidden unless you click on it.
