Yes, I finally got done picking over my next mini fairy-tale retelling and published it – and let me tell you, publishing definitely doesn’t get any less scary the more times you do it. This one is also free, just like A Wolf in the Woods, because in the end I just couldn’t see charging someone money for a 4-page story written in an odd style.
Unlike A Wolf in the Woods, though, Honk is contemporary fantasy, not quasi-medieval horror – it’s actually kind of funny, in fact. And did I mention it’s free? It’s free, and downloadable in multiple formats because Smashwords is great that way. Oh, and it has an awesome cover, too. 😉
