We’re still having pretend autumn here – unlike this time last year, it’s cold and ridiculously windy and when it does rain it’s more water beating on everything than gentle droplets falling from the sky to make the flowers grow. I normally like rainy weather, but this is icky and depressing and it’s been sapping my initiative so for the past week or so I’ve gotten less than nothing done.
I did, however, post a new fic on AO3: Summer Rain, the next story in the Damage Control series. I’d forgotten that I’d gotten it done a while back, sorry about that. And much thanks to Michelle for asking about it and thereby reminding me that I needed to post it. I won’t pretend this universe isn’t heading in an uncomfortable direction, because it totally is, but I do promise I won’t let it go too far down the rabbit hole.
Which of course means the next one, Falling Leaves, is going to take me a while to properly finish. But those are the breaks. 😉
