My local Walmart has an entire rack of Five Nights at Freddie’s costumes, some of them disturbingly life-sized. The survival horror video game, which came out in 2014, has spawned 3 sequels with one more set to appear five days from now, a novel, all kinds of spinoff games, a role-playing game, and an upcoming movie which I will probably not go see in the theater because JUMP SCARES. Especially from Foxy, who runs really fast.
Foxy is actually my favorite out of all the FNaF characters. Because of the way he comes out of his stage and then runs for the door, then pops in like he’s about to yell out “HIIII!!!”
Of course, yelling out a cheery greeting a la Markiplier is not what Foxy actually does if you don’t slam the door in his face. But I still think he looks like he wants to.
Anyway, tonight we’re going to go back to the beginning and revisit the very first FNaF game. I’ve watched a lot of people playing it, so I’m going to give you a choice of players: Jacksepticeye, who made it through the first two nights alive, and Markiplier, who didn’t. (“HIIII!!!”).
Jack and Mark have very different playing styles, so you might actually want to watch them both.
Both of these YouTubers have playlists for FNaF if you want to watch one or both of them play the entire thing – or the entire series. There are also some GMOD videos of them playing it together and with other people.
